County collection/sorting sites
The Peak to Peak Wood Cooperative in Colorado's Front Range aims to increase utilization of wood resources by collecting logs in sorting yards and making them available for general purchase.
Collection sites, sort yards and events are listed within each of the five partipating counties.

Using the navigation bar to the left will be the quickest ways of surfing around the site. It is not necessary to register on this site to see the information, but loggin in is required to leave comments. This site is regulated to questions and products that are directly related to the Peak to Peak Wood Cooperative.
The program, funded through a $100,000 U.S. Forest Service grant, is being coordinated throughout the counties by the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS), Colorado State Parks and CSFS's forest products marketing program, Colorado Forest Products.
Private landowners can drop off roundwood, de-limbed tree trunks, that have been removed from their property for forest health and thinning projects. The project is also collecting decked roundwood from restoration projects on public lands. People looking to utilize the products available at the sort yards can contact the managers through this site at each county's page.
“The site will have the latest news concerning any collection sites, and that information will also be regularly released to all interested media,” Program Manager Craig Jones said. “Collection times are expected to be slightly fluid, so landowners hoping to drop off wood should double check times, dates and locations through the site, which will always have the most up-to-date information available.”
