The Peak to Peak Wood Project contacted forest landowners in your Stove Prairie area for a pilot curbside pickup (accessible by self-loading truck) program. To participate call or e-mail the contacts below specifying address, date the wood will be available for pickup and the amount of wood. If you really want to help us out, please register on this site and leave a note on the Stove Prairie Message board with that same information. This allows us to keep track of everything using the Web site.
-
A minimum of 1 cord must be set out, limbs cut flush to the trunk.
-
A standard cord is 4’ x 4’ x 8’ = 128 cu. ft.
-
All species will be accepted, all lengths must be greater than 8 feet, 3 inches.
-
Longer lengths are preferred (10 ft. or greater, please add 3 inches for trim).
-
-
This is for round wood only – NO SLASH.
-
Landowners will be paid $10 per cord for their wood.
