Beetle Flight

While the mountain pine beetles are in flight, some Peak to Peak Wood operations will cease or be limited. For instance, the Stove Prairie collection site is closed during the flight. Boulder County's Meeker Park will remain open, but will not accept mountain pine beetle infested wood during beetle flight time.  Starting July 18th the Meeker Park site will inspect all incoming loads of wood for active mountain pine beetles.  If loads show any signs of active mountain pine beetle the entire load will be turned away.
