Representatives from Boulder County, Gilpin County, US Forest Service and Colorado State Forest Service will help you improve your skills at identifying recently hit trees and provide strategies that may reduce the impacts of bark beetles on your backyard forest. Fall is a great time to survey your backyard and cut newly infested trees.

Meeker Park site to open for season (Meeker Park Biomass Collection Site, from Apr 14, 2009 09:00 AM to Apr 14, 2009 05:00 PM)

(Boulder County, Colo.) – The community forestry sort yard established last year along the Peak-to-Peak Highway to accommodate residents in north Boulder and South Larimer Counties will re-open in April to accept trees and slash from private lands.

A pilot wood collection project will be held on this date for forest landowners in the Stove Prairie area.

Peak to Peak Wood launch (from Jul 30, 2008 10:00 AM to Jul 30, 2008 12:00 PM)
