Representatives from Boulder County, Gilpin County, US Forest Service and Colorado State Forest Service will help you improve your skills at identifying recently hit trees and provide strategies that may reduce the impacts of bark beetles on your backyard forest. Fall is a great time to survey your backyard and cut newly infested trees.

Representatives from Boulder County, Gilpin County, US Forest Service and Colorado State Forest Service will help you improve your skills at identifying recently hit trees and provide strategies that may reduce the impacts of bark beetles on your backyard forest. Fall is a great time to survey your backyard and cut newly infested trees. We will start at 1PM at the Nederland Community Center with a short indoor session followed by a more hands-on outdoor session at the proposed Nederland Sort Yard site on Ridge Road.
